Gemini Xylocat Codex Entry
Gemini Xylocat, Communicator
The Gemini Dyad
The Dyad lineage is defined by multiplicity and duality, originating from the Mutable Air Xylo-Signal broadcast from the twin stars Pollux (β Geminorum) and Castor (α Geminorum). The key to this lineage, however, is that the twins are not identical. Pollux is a single, bright golden star. Castor, in contrast, is a complex six-star system.
This stellar arrangement is the Gemini Xylocat's mind. They are not merely "two-faced"; they are a manifold consciousness (the six-star Castor) projecting itself through a singular, bright persona (Pollux). This is the source of their versatile and quick-witted intellect. Their mutable mind can hold multiple, conflicting truths simultaneously, an ability that less-evolved entities perceive as "superficial" or "impatient". They are the masters of data, communication, and the "Eclipse Transmission" itself.
