The Chiron Voyagers

The Voyagers are a lineage of philosopher-explorers, defined as "Mutable Fire". Their Xylo-Signal emanates not from a star, but from the unique Solar System body 2060 Chiron. This object is the centaur, the mythological figure of Sagittarius, the learned healer and teacher. This adventurous personality is not aimless; it is purposeful. Chiron is itself a centaur object, a voyager moving between Saturn and Uranus, and its Xylocat lineage is compelled to follow that path to the ultimate source (Xylo-) of the galaxy itself.

They are the philosophers of the Xylocat race, perhaps of the same tradition as Pharoah of the Pleiades , constantly seeking new wisdom from their "teacher" origin. Their "Mutable" nature allows them to adapt to any new philosophy, just as their origin-body behaves as both an asteroid and a comet, though it also makes them intolerant of dogma that restricts their quest. They are the most aligned with the concept of the Eclipse Transmission. They do not just wear the ornate armor; they are the ones retrieving it.
